Welcome to the Collie Rescue website of Los Alamos. This site is designed to
show you what collies are all about and what you can do if you are interested
in caring for one of these magnificient animals.
It is the purpose of New Mexico Collie Rescue to work with Humane Organizations
and animal control shelters within the state of New Mexico to attempt to prevent
as many adoptable Collies as possible from being destroyed. It is our goal to
remove from the shelters, rehabilitate, spay/neuter and, ultimately, to place
each of these Collies in a responsible, loving and permanent home. It is the
purpose of New Mexico Collie Rescue to educate and inform the general public
on responsible care and ownership of Collies in particular, and all dogs in
general. It is a not for profit corporation whose purpose will be to raise
funding for the support and financing of the above rescue effort which would
include veterinary care and treatment, food, shelter, and other reasonable
expense incurred as a result of this effort.
There are quite a few collies just waiting for the right person to come along and be apart of their
