    As a child I wanted a number of things. I wanted a bike and clothes and other toys. But there was only one thing that my heart truly did desire, and that was my dad.
    He left us when I was only a toddler.
    When I was seven, he came back again for a couple of days, leading us to believe that he wanted to be part if our lives. But he took off and we never heard from him again. From then on, something inside me yearned for the father that had disappeared
    So I prayed.
